Christopher K. Steuart
Christopher K. Steuart is
a practicing attorney and one of the founding shareholders of IT
Forensics, Inc. He is licensed in the State of Washington and
before the United States District Court for the Western District of
Washington and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth
Circuit. For thirteen years he was a computer forensic examiner and
information security specialist for the Boeing Company. He served
as an Electronic Warfare Officer and Special Security Officer (SSO)
in the United States Army and the United States Army
Reserve.
He has presented classes and seminars including continuing
legal education on physical security of information systems,
investigation of criminal misuse of computers. He has presented at
regional and national forums: the American Society for Industrial
Security (ASIS), Agora, Northwest Computer Technology Crime Analysis
Seminar (NCT), Computer Technology Investigators Network (CTIN) and
he has been an adjunct faculty member of City University and is a
co-author (with H. William “Bill” Nelson, Amelia Phillips, and Frank
Enfinger) of
Guide to Computer Forensics and Investigations.
He has been
interviewed on the subject of computer
forensics on National Public Radio's Morning Edition.
He consulted in support of the defense and advised the defense computer
forensics team in
United States v. Sami Omar Al-Hussayen.
He
is currently an instructor in the University of Washington Digital
Forensics Certificate Program.
He is a
graduate of Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree and
of Drake University Law School with a Juris Doctor degree.

from our predecessor organization, the Law Office of Christopher K.
Steuart, extensive experience in information technology security and
forensics with a Fortune 10 corporation and government service
providing electronic evidence recovery, analysis and expert witness
testimony.
